Position at United Veterinary Care

As the Manager – Corporate Growth, you will serve as the lead project manager for expansion, de-novo growth, and M&A initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, hospital teams, financial partners, and external consultants to evaluate and execute strategic investment opportunities. Your role will be critical in ensuring projects are financially sound, completed on time, and align with our corporate growth objectives. This is a full time, remote position reporting to the VP of Expansions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Expansion & Growth Initiatives – Manage end-to-end projects, including financial modeling, stakeholder coordination, and strategic execution.
  • Financial Analysis & Investment Recommendations – Evaluate new opportunities, build P&L and ROI projections, and present findings to the senior leadership team (SLT).
  • Project Oversight & Execution – Ensure projects are implemented on time and within budget while maintaining a strong pipeline of growth opportunities.
  • M&A Support – Assist with buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, working with bankers, attorneys, and internal teams to analyze deals, conduct due diligence, and review key documents.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with operations, clinical leadership, real estate professionals, and finance teams to drive project success.
  •  Special Projects – Support strategic initiatives as needed by the VP of Expansions and SVP of Growth.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Big Four, private equity, or consulting.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred – with strong financial modeling expertise.
  • M&A experience is highly desirable, with a background in private equity roll-ups or consolidations being a plus.
  • Experience reviewing legal contracts and working on financial due diligence.
  • Strong ownership mentality – a self-starter who proactively drives projects to completion.
  • Advanced Excel skills with a keen eye for financial analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
