Manager, Provider Operations at Curai
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented dynamic Manager, Provider Operations, to lead credentialing, recredentialing, licensing, and provider payer enrollment. clinician scheduling and accreditation functions supporting our clinician network of employed and contracted clinicians. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations, a proven track record of managing provider-related processes, in-depth knowledge and experience in building and scaling the onboarding, credentialing, licensing and enrollment functions necessary to support the medical group at scale, including accepting delegation of those functions from health plans and health systems. Additionally, we are seeking a leader with extensive experience in pursuing and maintaining NCQA accreditation (e.g., credentialing, PCMH, disease management, etc).

What You’ll Do
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the provider operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Leads operations supporting the provider network, including credentialing and licensing strategy, payer enrollment, continuous monitoring, accreditation, and scheduling functions
• Lead and support efforts related to maintaining NCQA and other required accreditation. Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify gaps and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the ability to successfully accept delegated functions from health system and health plan partners (e.g., delegated credentialing) 
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements supporting medical group operations 
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators for provider operations and provide regular reports to leadership on credentialing, enrollment, licensing and accreditation compliance metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, incorporation of AI tools and technology to drive workflow innovation, and to support a high-functioning medical group of the future
• Work cross-functionality to evolve clinician onboarding process to ensure high touch experience for new clinicians and on-time start dates.
• In partnership with People Operations, Medical Staff Leadership, and Operations colleagues, build and maintain strong and respectful working relationships with clinicians to drive job satisfaction and retention.

What You’ll Need
• Bachelors degree required
• 7+ years experience in provider operations or medical group operational functions, with specific experience in credentialing, re-credentialing, licensing regulations, payer enrollment and ongoing monitoring functions. 5+ years people leadership experience and comfort working in matrixed environment
• 5+ years experience with NCQA accreditation, including demonstrated success in leading functions to obtain and maintain accreditation
• 3+ years experience with provider scheduling and onboarding in ambulatory or telehealth setting is highly preferred
• Experience in working with high-growth organizations and rapidly expanding medical groups is highly preferred.
• CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) and/or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management) preferred
• Proficient in using credentialing and enrollment software systems, as well as typical business software suites (e.g., Google Workplace, Microsoft Office Suite, etc)
• Experience leading in dynamic, fast-paced environment is highly preferred
• Experience and comfort working in technology-enabled and cutting-edge environment are highly preferred

The annual base salary range for this position is between $125,000-150,000 annually. Stock grants also play a key part in any offer, they increase your overall compensation package significantly based on company success. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
