CDP is seeking a Senior Vice President of Services and Operations to scale our product organization, shape our strategy, and drive service execution to deliver results for CDP’s core services including the Member Services Bureau (MSB). As a member of our Executive Team, this role plays a pivotal role in driving the success of CDP's Member Services Bureau (MSB) program and leads a unified organization encompassing Product, Delivery, and the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). This integrated structure fosters seamless collaboration and enhances our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients with a "services managed as a product" model.
The SVP of Services and Operations role will transform CDP's operational structure to meet future demands. This includes reimagining organizational design, processes, and support systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role will develop, define, and manage the MSB and Marketing Channel product roadmap, ensuring CDP delivers on its mission to help Public Media Organizations (PMOs) grow their donor files and increase net revenue. The SVP of Services and Operations collaborates closely with CDP leadership and ROI Solutions to optimize our partnership. To ensure the MSB's success, the SVP leverages organizational resources, including analytics and insights, to drive informed data driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Leadership
- Define, develop and maintain CDP’s Member Service Bureau product/solution roadmap, ensuring that our solutions meet our clients’ needs while maintaining an excellent quality standard and delivering at scale. This role works in close partnership with CDP’s Client and Technology Leadership.
- Oversee CDP’s Multichannel Marketing Strategy, driving the team to set ambitious and achievable goals.
- Deeply understand the needs of our clients and implement solutions that address their challenges and drive results.
Operational Excellence:
- Lead the reinvention of CDP's operational structure to meet future demands. This includes reimagining organizational design, processes, and support systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with ROI leadership to leverage the partnership and maximize its value in the evolving operating model.
- Lead the formalization, visualization, and review of organizational processes, identifying automation opportunities to streamline operations and increase efficiency. Drive process improvement, efficiency, and quality across all operational functions. Set and maintain quality standards to support CDP’s value proposition of delivering fundraising expertise at economies of scale.
- Drive strategic prioritization decisions that align with CDP's overall mission and goals.
- Identify and implement innovative technologies and approaches to enhance our operational capabilities.
- Ensure on time, quality and scalable project delivery of onboarding of new clients as well as improved delivery of client solutions
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Lead effective remote work and team collaboration across different geographical locations
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
Executive Team Responsibilities:
- Objective and strategy ownership for CDP’s Strategic Plan
- Collaboration with other Executive Team Members as part of CDP’s Strategic Plan
- Ensure efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in product and/or operations management, preferably in the non-profit services or services sector, including public media.
- Deep understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and technology platforms.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to management
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and grow individuals and teams and to navigate and support the team through challenging situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
