The role

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of HR tasks with a primary focus for the first year on recruiting top talent. Additionally, you will play a key role in general HR administration, ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting our employees in Kosovo. You’ll be an integral part of our team, contributing to all facets of HR while strengthening our workforce as we launch our Kosova office. 
Your Mission
  • Oversee general HR functions, including payroll preparation and contract management for local employees.
  • Be in charge of the on/offboarding processes – supported by the People team of NFON Germany.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees in Kosovo, assisting with HR-related inquiries.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture Team in Munich to align HR processes and policies.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Support employer branding efforts and help foster a strong company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices.
Your profile
  • Minimum 2+ years in HR and/or Recruiting, preferably within the tech sector.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, recruitment strategies, and employee relations.
  • Experience in payroll preparation, contract management, and HR documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and international offices.
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and handle HR challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English is a must; German is a plus.
  • Passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement.
