Who We Are

Second Dinner is an award-winning independent game development studio. Just how many awards you ask? A whopping 22 in total so far… Including Mobile Game of the Year from both The Game Awards and DICE, Best Strategy Game from IGN and the prestigious Apple Design Award for Innovation. You could be the next addition to our award-winning team! Continue reading to find out more.

For our debut game, MARVEL SNAP, we’ve partnered with Marvel (Trust us, we had to pinch ourselves too!). We’ve got other SUPER FUN (but still secret) projects in the works and this role is a chance to be a part of something new, and special at the company. As a remote-first company, we value diversity and encourage applications from everyone who can bring something unique to the table.

Attention all Creative Marketing Leaders!

Second Dinner is building an industry-leading publishing team and is looking for someone to help shape the future of our creative marketing efforts.

In this role, you’ll build and lead a small internal design team and be the primary point of contact for external creative partners. The team we’re assembling thrives on balancing data-driven experimentation with bold, innovative ideas that cut through the clutter of today’s marketing landscape. If being part of a fast-growing company making history in the gaming industry sounds like your kind of place, read on!

Your Role

The Creative Marketing Lead / Creative Marketing Manager is a senior role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on execution. This key role is foundational to our future success and will oversee all aspects of creative marketing production to drive growth for both current and future games.

As a key leader on the marketing team, you’ll inspire and guide internal creatives and external partners to craft bold, innovative, and player-centric campaigns. You’ll play a pivotal role in translating player insights and data into impactful creative that resonates with global audiences. Whether it’s crafting trailers, experimenting with ad formats, or overseeing brand-defining videos, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how Second Dinner connects with its players.

This is a unique opportunity to combine creative vision, process-driven experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results. You thrive in environments where you can roll up your sleeves, manage workflows, and bring the best, boldest ideas to life. Ready to inspire and be inspired? Read on.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of bold, innovative marketing campaigns, including trailers, digital ads, playable ads, live-action videos, and brand-defining creative

  • Build and manage a hybrid creative team of internal talent and external agencies, fostering collaboration and delivering top-tier creative assets

  • Drive the creative production process from ideation to execution, taking into account player motivations, insights, brand goals, and cross-functional priorities

  • Balance your own hands-on contributions like graphic design or video editing with high-level creative direction and workflow management

  • Collaborate with analytics and product teams to translate player insights and data into impactful creative that resonates with diverse global audiences

  • Develop and refine A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance and validate creative hypotheses

  • Experiment with new ad formats, platforms, and storytelling techniques to push creative boundaries and stand out in a crowded marketplace

  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with product, analytics, live-ops, user acquisition, and design teams

What You’ll Need:
(Even if you don’t check every box, we’d still love to hear from you!)

  • A strong creative vision and leadership style that inspires

  • Proven ability to translate player motivations and insights into high-quality creative that drives engagement and brand loyalty

  • Hands-on experience with either graphic design, video editing, or other creative production tools. We’re a small team; sometimes, you’ll have to jump in

  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools like Trello, Monday.com, or Asana for managing workflows across hybrid teams

  • Passion for understanding MARVEL SNAP and its players

  • ~3-5+ years of experience in a creative marketing or related role

Nice to Have, But Not Necessary:

  • A compelling portfolio that showcases your ability to craft creative work that connects with diverse audiences

  • Experience in the gaming industry or with live-service games

  • Familiarity with creating various assets, including static ads, gameplay trailers, live-action ads, CG/animated trailers, playable ads, or copywriting

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, or similar graphic and video production software
