POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales team. This position will be a remote role with several team members located near our Denver office. This full-time position will be responsible for outbounding to new accounts and setting up prospect meetings for our Account Executives. You will report to our Manager of Sales Development. You'll make 200+ prospecting activities per day (emails, phone calls, text messages, video messaging, LinkedIn Inmails) to accounts per day, attempting to reach potential clients, prequalify them, and transfer leads over to an Account Executive. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams – build relationships, prioritize tasks, achieve milestones.
  • Must have a passion for technology, sales and be highly motivated to succeed.
  • 1-2 years of experience with business-to-business sales over the phone.
  • Good verbal and telephone communication skills.
  • Build rapport and trusting relationships with prospects to develop an understanding of each client's situation and convey the value of the Velocity Global services in each interaction.
  • Strategically overcome objections given by potential clients.
  • Resolve and document each call to a lead or prospect in Salesforce.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales goals as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io or other CRM productivity software is a plus
  • Positive attitude - no negotiation!
  • Highly competitive
  • Coachable with a strong willingness to learn
  • Enthusiasm for outstanding performance, striving to exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
