Position: Senior Manager, National Placements

Reports to: Director, High School Exchange USA

Department: Academic Exchanges

Who you are:

We are seeking a results-driven leader to guide our Regional Placement Managers in achieving sales goals and ensuring high-quality student placements. This role requires developing strategies to drive revenue growth, analyzing performance data, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will effectively manage cross-departmental relationships, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Regional Placement Managers to achieve individual and team sales goals and ensure high-quality and timely student placements.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Create and oversee sales plans, targets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement improvements to placement processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the placement team adheres to best practices and company policies.
  • Develop and execute strategies to capture new market segments and drive business growth.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within program support functions and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Placement team and other departments or external stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to program support activities, preparing reports and dashboards as needed, including forecasts, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance, program outcomes, and any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or related to placement activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to program support processes, procedures, and standards.


What you’ll bring:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or international equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, ideally within student placement, sales, or program management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in a similar setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, sales forecasting, and performance metrics tracking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Experience in process improvement and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, address team challenges, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and performance tracking tools.

The position is available to candidates in the United States, except for candidates residing in:
