  • Rapidly process and accurately enter financial data from PDF statements into accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and timeliness
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and documentation for bankruptcy filings, adhering to strict legal requirements and deadlines
  • Organize and manage financial information for both business and personal tax preparation, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Oversee bookkeeping tasks for multiple entities, including personal and business accounts, maintaining clear and accurate financial records
  • Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines, particularly for time-sensitive filings and reports
  • Collaborate closely with tax preparers and legal professionals to ensure all necessary financial information is provided accurately and promptly
  • Implement and maintain efficient financial tracking systems to improve overall financial management and reporting
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support informed business decisions
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy


Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong background in bankruptcy filings and tax preparation
  • Exceptional data entry skills with demonstrated high accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in various accounting software platforms and advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a track record of producing error-free work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and external professionals
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing financial tasks and projects
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and potentially expanded responsibilities in marketing and administrative tasks
  • Relevant certifications in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, QuickBooks Certified User) are highly desirable
  • Experience working with multiple business entities and managing diverse financial portfolios is a significant plus
