Position Title: Accountant Work Set-up: Work From Home Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 05:00 PM AEST (AU-VIC Holidays) Salary: Php 70,000.00 – Php 75,000.00

You’ll be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial reports for our client. Ultimately, you will play a vital role in our client’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting. The ideal candidate will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The successful candidate will help build the client’s best practice process to streamline his workflow and systematize the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN ACCOUNTANT
Your Responsibilities as an Accountant would be:
• Organize and update financial records as needed (digital). • Analyze transactions and prepare reports. • Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments. • Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins. • Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable. • Participate in budgeting processes. • Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns. • Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly. • Keep company financial information confidential. • Establish accounting policies and procedures. • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations..
Qualifications as an Accountant:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CA accreditation (or equivalent) is a plus. • Minimum of 3 years in Australian accounting and tax preparation firm. • Must have experience in preparation of the following: -Individual Tax Returns -Company Tax Returns -Trust Tax Returns -BAS/ GST -Payroll Tax (State payroll Tax Lodgments) • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures. • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Experience with accounting software, specifically Xero and BGL Super 360. • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables). • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. • Skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. • Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. • Someone who can work unsupervised and has the ambition to become a team leader.
