The Registry Support Specialist I is responsible for the application support of Elekta registry software, third-party products associated with registry software, and support of the clients who benefit from their use. This position is responsible for inquiry handling (via phone/internet/fax/email), registry database maintenance activities, and upgrade support.
Responsibilities:
Provide First-Level Support: Answer incoming customer calls and emails, offering basic troubleshooting and guidance.
Document Interactions: Accurately document all customer interactions according to Elekta Registry Support policies and procedures.
Identify Support Needs: Assess customer inquiries to determine if advanced support is required.
Project Involvement: Participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes and efficiency.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot a defined set of common issues.
Team Membership: Actively contribute as a member of the registry support team.
On-Call Support: Provide after-hours support to registry customers as scheduled.
Credential Maintenance: Maintain required certifications from the National Cancer Registrars Association.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
What you bring
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements
listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Employees must be able to read, speak, write
and comprehend the English language.
Minimum five years of experience in hospital cancer registry operations.
Possession of Professional Cancer Registry Certification (CTR/ODS credential).
At least three years of gained or previous experience with Elekta registry products (METRIQ).
At least four years of customer support experience or equivalent.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
Proven ability to troubleshoot basic registry software issues.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
Adherence to established practices and procedures.
Proficiency in cancer registry standards.
Fluency in additional languages (French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, or Chinese) preferred.
College degree or equivalent registry experience required.

The US base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000.
