Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full time Manager, Strategic Sourcing– Facilities & Store Development. This will be a remote role. In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of multiple Facilities related Services (i.e. Construction Projects, Facility Maintenance, Janitorial, HVAC, MEP Maintenance, Waste Management, Landscaping, Fire & Security Services, MRO/Janitorial Supplies, etc.) as well as Store Operations. Cost savings are an essential part of the role and you will also play an important role in establishing alternate suppliers for quality, price, and reliability purposes. As an integral part of the team you will assess current contracts and vendors; lead sourcing events (Direct Negotiations, RFx, etc) and work with the client to make final decisions regarding the awarding of contracts to suppliers. As the Manager, you will report to the Managing Director, Strategic Sourcing- Facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Category expertise in facilities: Maintenance, HVAC, MRO, Waste Management, Uniforms, Utilities, Material Handling, Janitorial and Sanitation, Fire Life Safety, Store Development/Store Operations.
  • Build strategic sourcing models (market comparison, vendor rationalization, RFx, negotiations, contracting and implementation).
  • Determine cost modeling with a total cost of ownership focus.
  • Negotiating key supplier agreements and working with clients to contract for products and services.
  • Manage Supplier and Vendor Relationships.
  • Develop and Montior KPI and SLA’s.
  • Develop sourcing schedules and strategies with clients.
  • Purchase indirect services and materials.
  • Secure cost savings across most/all purchases.
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a sourcing and or procurement environment.
  • Experienced and comfortable directly negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
  • Solid analytical skills to understand data and create strategies based on information.
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong ownership of the work process from start to end, meeting deadlines and client commitments.
  • Self-discipline and a strong intellectual curiosity.
  • Sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and Ariba.

 

Travel:

This position requires minimal travel.
