Front-End Developer and UI/UX Design Consultant

Position Overview

As a Front-End Developer and UI/UX Design Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in developing user-facing features on our web applications and creating innovative learning experiences using modern web technologies and digital adoption platforms. You will work closely with design, back-end teams, and learning technology implementation, focusing on building engaging user interfaces and applications that enhance user experience and drive adoption across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development:

Develop user-friendly interfaces for web applications
Integrate COTS software into ISG Systems
Collaborate with design and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end components
Implement responsive design principles to optimize applications for various devices
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front-end development
Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high application performance

Technical Implementation:

Write clean, maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Create custom extensions and modifications for digital adoption platforms (DAP)
Integrate learning solutions and DAP solutions with customer enterprise applications
Optimize performance and accessibility of learning content and work products
Build automated testing suites for learning applications
Apply continuous improvement framework for coding engagements
Document code for assigned engagements

Learning Technology & Project Management Systems Development:

Create interactive simulations, guided workflows, and digital learning and performance support content
Build and maintain reusable component libraries for learning applications
Implement multi-language support for global training initiatives
Configure industry standard context-sensitive help systems (e.g., WalkMe, SAP Enable Now)
Create custom analytics dashboards to track learning effectiveness (e.g., ClickUp, PowerBI, Tableau)
Develop custom learning solutions using digital adoption platforms (SAP Enable Now Companion, WalkMe, etc.) and modern learning technologies is a plus

Client Solutions:

Lead technical discovery and implementation planning
Configure and deploy learning solutions and metrics dashboards for enterprise clients
Provide technical consulting on learning technology architecture
Advise clients and internal teams on industry trends and leading practices when designing client solutions
Interface with clients and internal stakeholders in a consulting model to facilitate key discussions when designing technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Support content migration and platform upgrades
Document technical specifications and implementation guides

Required Skillsets

This position is fully remote, but some travel may be required
Must have sole U.S. citizenship and physically located in the U.S
Availability to work primarily on Eastern Standard Time (EST), as well as across multiple time zones on a flex schedule is required
5+ years’ experience in front-end development, with a focus on JavaScript and other front-end technologies
5 years’ experience working with databases, API gateways, and continuous improvement frameworks
Strong familiarity with SAP Products, particularly SAP Enable Now, is preferred
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Experience working with and integration of Digital Adoption Platforms, especially WalkMe and SAP Enable Now
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
Experience with version control systems such as GIT
Knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous request handling
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
Demonstrated understanding of distributed version control systems (GIT), creation and maintenance of branches and repositories

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
MBA or another advanced degree (s) desirable
