Travel Ambulatory & Clinical Trials EEG Technologist

CortiCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced travel Ambulatory EEG Technologist. This role is designed for healthcare professionals specializing in electroencephalography (EEG) and looking for travel opportunities within the US and abroad while providing essential medical services, including in-home ambulatory EEG setup and collection and EEG collection in Clinical Trials. The position requires at least 2 years of experience as an EEG Tech, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform EEG procedures effectively and efficiently. The job is structured as a remote position with varied travel assignments. Up to 50 – 75% travel expected. 

Responsibilities
• Perform EEG procedures and monitor patients during tests
• Ensure the proper functioning of EEG equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Maintain accurate records of EEG tests and patient information
• Educate patients and their families about the EEG process and what to expect during the procedure

Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist
• Strong knowledge of EEG procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with advanced EEG techniques and technologies
• Familiarity with various EEG equipment
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Technologists will be responsible for transporting as many as two cases to testing sites. They will also be responsible for moving equipment during testing to ascertain optimal testing performance. The average case weight is less than 25 lbs.
