Job description

This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely. #LI-Remote


Vena is looking for a Senior Manager, Partner Operations to join our Revenue Operations team. This will be a critical role in helping Vena drive process improvements and scalability. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate with leaders from our Revenue Operations, Ecosystem Strategy, Partner, Enablement, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. You will need to be; well versed in partner journeys, process optimization, excellent at deriving insights from data, and passionate about creating sustainable and scalable partner operations growth.

What you will do:

  • Lead the partner ops team, contributing and building current and long term strategies that will help scale our Partner business
  • Manage and build Partner Operations team, while guiding and advising senior stakeholders on how to optimize their motions
  • Own the operational aspects of our internal & external marketplace to ensure they are optimized and performing to their full potential
  • Develop, deliver, and communicate operational insights, program updates, and recommendations aligned to ecosystem strategy and shared goals
  • Work in close partnership with senior management to establish strategic objectives and evolve and manage the Vena Partner program
  • Own the management and expansion of partner technology
  • Ensure operational best practices around process are in use
  • Undertake operational improvements ranging from partner acquisition to partner sales, implementation and payment
  • Develop roadmap for long term partner operations scalability

Does this sound like you?

  • 7+ years of Partner, sales or marketing operations experience, preferably at a SaaS, eCommerce or other technical service subscription-based company
  • 2+ years’ of experience in people leadership
  • Experience working within the Microsoft Partner ecosystem will be a major benefit
  • You’ve worked in partner ecosystems that include VARs, resellers, system integrators, service providers and tech partners
  • You have the ability to translate business needs into deliverable technical requirements
  • Experience with funnel/journey tracking, forecasting and growth metrics
  • Outstanding ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization and balance competing priorities
  • Growth mindset, strong emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and high level of empathy
  • Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities – we all have to roll up our sleeves!
