Job description

Compensation: $25.00 per hour.

JOB OVERVIEW  

Our Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to gain more than they give. Designed to expose you to a professional setting in the genetics field, this program combines hands-on learning with meaningful project ownership.   

Over the summer, you’ll work on impactful projects, collaborate with passionate professionals, and gain insights into the industry. We’re committed to providing you with an enriching experience that helps you develop practical skills, expand your network, and leave a lasting mark on your work.

Projects/Leaders you may have the opportunity to work on this summer include: 

  • Developing a social media best practice guide for Ambry employees and record a training session  
  • Investigating new social media channels/platforms – make recommendations for Ambry
  • Working with social media and comms manager to build framework for an integrated corporate communications calendar  
  • Identifying and recommending evergreen social media posts for identified campaigns and conferences  
  • Exploring and recommending social media posts for holidays and awareness days

JOB SPECIFICATIONS  

II. EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:  

  • Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate with an accredited college/university 

III. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Skill, Abilities and Capabilities):  

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and time management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while contributing to team objectives. 

IV. EXPERIENCE:  

  • Familiarity with social media platforms  
  • Interest or experience with AI  
  • Content writing ability
