The role:

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist Canadian business leaders in creating long-term company value by developing and executing marketing objectives, goals, and strategies. Typical project work is centered on data analysis, creative development and overall support of product, channel, and performance marketing goals. Additionally, this role will work cross-functionally to support growth opportunities and long-term strategies. A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

You will be expected to conduct all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Key Accountabilities:

Areas of exposure may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support a strategic project using data analysis and provide a synthesized recommendation to broader Ardent Mills team. For example, manage a new product launch through our New Product Stage Gate (NPSG) process.
  • Assisting with tactical activities associated with overarching integrated marketing strategies and brand management such as Salesforce email marketing campaigns and content strategy.
  • Collaborating with Canadian marketing team in new product launches.
  • Conducting competitive market reviews
  • Identifying and implementing areas to improve customer experience.
  • Assist in optimizing customer marketing programs.
  • Data Analysis: supporting the marketing team in the analysis and evaluation of marketing efforts to fully understand effectiveness and opportunity to improve.
  • Creative Development: assisting in the execution of the marketing strategy by developing content, reviewing materials and execution of projects.
  • Interacting and collaborating with other Ardent Mills functions to gain a broader understanding of the Ardent Mills business structure and how Marketing plays a role.

You will participate in our Flourish Intern Program. Flourish is Ardent Mills’ summer Intern Program, structured and designed to provide team members with a foundational understanding of how to live Ardent Mills' vision and values while gaining firsthand experience in the industry and providing value to the organization through specialized projects. Interns will be immersed in the day-to-day business activity while partnering directly with leaders across the organization in a group project experience. Interns will also work on individual projects, assigned based on organizational need and intern past experiences. A variety of social and business-related activities are also available for further interaction and networking amongst peers and leaders.
