A Brief Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Claims Account Manager to join our team and work from one of our offices. However, we are open to consider a remote working arrangement for a qualified person not living within a reasonable commute distance of one of our offices.  We work together in the office five days a week in order to strengthen our culture, build team connections, and drive profitability. This individual will oversee third party claim administrators handling Professional Liability claims on Argo’s behalf and contribute to providing superb claims results for our clients.

 

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Working with limited oversight under broad management direction, administer oversite of Argo Professional Liability files at a TPA partner with a potentially with major impact on departmental results.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by TPAs adjusting claims for US programs.
  • Act as the single point of contact for the Professional Liability program for both internal and external customers
  • Participate in audit and claim review process for the Professional Liability program
  • Conduct regular audit and claim review process for the Professional Liability program.

 

What We Need:

  • J.D. Degree from an accredited university is required.
  • At least seven years of industry experience required.
  • Advanced technical expertise related to Professional Liability policies, claims resolution, and skills and knowledge of insurance and claims settlement principles, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to partner with finance, actuarial, IT and marketing resources.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company’s internal and external business partners.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • A strong focus on execution in getting things done right.  Proven ability to consistently produce and deliver expected results to all stakeholders.
  • Client focus – the ability to effectively determine specific client needs and to provide value added solutions.
  • A relentless desire to continually update your skills through continuing education and self-development.
  • Demonstrates inner strength.  Has the courage to do the right thing and demonstrates it on a daily basis.

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

Colorado outside of Denver metro, Maryland, Nevada, and Rhode Island Pay Ranges:

$154,900 - $185,900 USD

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

California outside of San Francisco metro area, Connecticut, Denver metro area, Washington State, and New York State (including Westchester County) Pay Ranges:

$170,300 - $204,300 USD

The base salary range provided below is for hires in those geographic areas only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

New York City and San Francisco metro areas Pay Ranges:

$185,600 - $223,100 USD
