Imagine Your Impact.

The IS Academies Operations Supervisor oversees the IS Academy Mentors and Support Staff responsible for the end-to-end student experience from onboarding through graduation. This position assists the team in managing students from lead status, enrollment, financial requirements, through graduation and post-graduation needs and more. This position supports staff toward improving student outcomes, increasing engagement, and alerting key personnel as issues arise. This position will serve as a point of contact and escalation point for all Academy Support Advisors and will work closely with finance, sales, rostering, technical systems, product support, and will manage our 3rd party vendors.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Senior Director of IS Academies.

 

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $48,550 and $50,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

 

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise the day-to-day functions of the team and act as a liaison between ASA team members and other teams.  
  • Direct and work collaboratively with the team and other departments to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of processes, drive change, and facilitate standardization.  
  • Oversee all processes to easily adapt as new products are added, with ambiguity until process are finalized. 
  • Work closely with IS academy support staff, teachers, coaches, and IS Academy Operations Director to assist with improving student outcomes 
  • Assist IS Academy Operations Director with projects, processes, forms, events, and creating a student experience.  
  • Monitor key metrics that balance employee satisfaction, quality customer service and the overall customer experience. 
  • Support change throughout the company and positively present changes to team. 
  • Collaborate effectively with the leaders of internal teams (sales, success, technical operations, license management. 
  • Other duties as required. 

 

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education and 3 years of experience in education, business, edtech; or an acceptable combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience in an EdTech company preferred. 
  • Positive outlook and talent to buoy up a team through effective leadership and motivation. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. 
  • Ability to learn basic management functions within all company products and speak to system requirements. 
  • Detail oriented, extremely organized and meticulous and comfortable with minutiae. 
  • Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to sort through information from internal databases and the internet and make judgment calls based on data. 
  • Ability to multi-task, tolerating constant interruptions and the need to re-prioritize throughout the day. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interface with internal stakeholders (license management, sales, technical operations, and customer success) and external customers. 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, dependable, and able to meet deadlines with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
