About the Company:

Our client is a logistics and transportation company specializing in fleet management and trucking operations. They leverage technology to optimize routes, ensure efficient load management, and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to act as the central hub of our trucking operations, managing both driver fleet and client relationships through fleet management and load board platforms. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and experience coordinating logistics in a fast-paced environment.

While trucking logistics experience is valuable, we welcome candidates from adjacent industries who have proven expertise in managing complex operations and maintaining high service standards. This position offers significant growth potential within our rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Logistics Coordination:

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of trucking fleet and client requests.
• Monitor fleet activities using Samsara and oversee market analytics via DAT load board.
• Optimize scheduling, route planning, and load assignments to maximize efficiency.

Customer & Vendor Relations:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, drivers, and dispatchers, ensuring timely communication.
• Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high service standards.
• Use TMS (Transportation Management System) to track shipments, update records, and document workflows.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate data across Google Suite, email platforms, and CRM systems.
• Manage basic phone systems/VoIP to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in trucking logistics or a similar operational role.
• Familiarity with fleet management software (Samsara), load boards (DAT), and TMS.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, email platforms, and basic VoIP phone systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems and document management tools.
• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of communication platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams) for team collaboration.
