Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Program Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that enhance our brand presence, drive engagement, and contribute to overall marketing success. This role will focus 75% on social media strategy and growth, while the remaining 25% will involve the development and execution of broader marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices, along with experience in coordinating marketing programs across cross-functional teams. You will work closely with the Marketing Program Manager and various departments to align campaign strategies with our brand objectives and drive the growth of AbleNet.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), ensuring alignment with target audience and campaign objectives.
  2. Develop and execute social media strategies that increase brand awareness and drives traffic to the website.
  3. Analyze social media KPIs, track performance, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes. 
  4. Monitor social media conversations, identifying opportunities for engagement, responding to inquiries, and managing feedback or complaints.
  5. Assess topics and trends from social media influencers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), target market groups, and competitors to suggest enhancements.
  6. Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers to amplify campaigns and drive engagement.
  7. Analyze social media data on a regular basis and develop reports with recommendations to share with internal stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate and manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall program strategy.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement marketing programs that align with business goals.

CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  1. Proven experience creating and executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  2. Strong understanding of social media best practices, especially in regulated industries like healthcare, medical devices, or biotech.
  3. Previously worked with a variety of social platforms, including best practices for content development and distribution in each venue (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest).
  4. Familiar with developing influencer partnerships aligning to brand and campaign objectives
  5. Ability to develop, execute, and measure integrated marketing programs and strategies
  6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
  7. Creative thinker with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  8. Experience with Sprout Social and Canva is a plus
  9. Familiar with the Speech Language Pathology field is a pluS


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or another relevant field. 
  • 3+ years of professional experience 





 

Physical, Time, Presence & Other Requirements

Physical: 

 Standard Office Environment: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Time:

 Full-Time, Exempt employees work an average of 40 hours per week.  Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Presence: 

 Flexible: This role can be performed in a fully onsite, fully remote, or hybrid capacity.
