Daily challenges

  • Managing and optimizing the incentive programs that DXC receives from Microsoft as a global solution partner. The role involves working closely with the DXC Microsoft Alliance, Practice, and account teams, as well as with Microsoft representatives, to ensure that DXC captures the maximum incentive benefits for its Microsoft-related deals and projects.
  • Manage all Microsoft Incentive programs to drive incentive capture for DXC accounts and ensure that DXC receives the maximum benefits from Microsoft incentive programs. Provide regular reports and analysis on the incentive capture performance and opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain DXC global metrics with Microsoft around our solution partner status, which enables DXC to compete for RFPs and bid on new or renewal business for Microsoft products and services.
  • Work with all practices to increase our Microsoft specialization metrics, which allow DXC to stand out in the market and demonstrate its capabilities and competencies.
  • Manage Microsoft Partner Centre and workspaces, and provide guidance and support to DXC teams on how to use them effectively.
  • Act as the single point of contact for Azure migration funding and expertise within DXC, and provide assistance and advice to deal teams on how to leverage Microsoft funding to reduce migration costs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Work with DXC MW Co-Pilot Offering team to secure increased co-pilot and M365 funding from Microsoft and support the MW Co-Pilot customer pipeline and sales.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish new protocols and processes for incentive awareness and communication and promote DXC as a preferred partner for Microsoft solutions.
  • Reduce costs for DXC by providing free licenses to MW Offerings from Microsoft for demo and testing purposes and develop a self-service portal for claim and migration funding submissions.
  • Manage Microsoft Incentive programs, drives MS LSP/EDA contracts & partner agreement review and renewal with supply chain, co-manages ECIF process globally to maximize MS co-sell opportunities and capture revenue, works with account teams, offering teams & Azure practice on other MS funding opportunities, manages Azure metrics/KPIs on behalf of DXC & MS practice.
  • Primary CSP SLMS Solutioning Specialist for EMEA/APJ. Provide Regional & Account Lead, OSS & OSA support & sales enablement expertise for Azure & software licensing deals in EMEA/APJ
  • Engage in multiple open Cloud & workplace deals. Provide Azure Resale, Incentive Cost modelling & forecasts for regional deals.
  • Part of Azure Margin & Pricing Business Case Review by Deal Pricing Centre to ensure DXC remain competitive in the cloud marketplace. Work with Microsoft  to ensure our tools/processes are working in order to meet the DXC/Microsoft Alliance targets
  • Working with Regional Azure Sales leads & DLG teams to ensure we are completing DPOR/PAL where possible, capturing ACR, driving free revenue back to accounts & recognizing revenues in SFDC.
  • Working with Azure Global Delivery Leadership to complete PAL across all DXC Managed Azure Service customers & ensure engineers are completing it as first steps, thus driving ACR capture & meeting the Microsoft targets both globally & regionally to provide extra funding & training
  • Provide Azure Resale, Incentive Cost modelling & forecasts for regional deals. This includes driving DXC DPOR & PAL incentive engagements globally for Azure Practice, and capturing ACR, capturing ACR, driving free revenue back to accounts & recognizing revenues in SFDC

eXperience and skills required

  • Microsoft Licensing Certified Professional is must
  • Microsoft Licensing Certified professional (Azure Specialist)
  • Experience & understanding of Microsoft licensing is must
  • 10+ years experience administering Azure cloud enrollments & portals.
  • Ability to build & manage a variety of financial opportunity pipelines essential
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure technical architecture and how Datacenter/Cloud management operates would be an advantage
  • Experience in resolving high value customer disputes & high stakes negotiations with vendors is good to have
  • Experience of third party software resale business, including dealing with end-customers directly regarding Microsoft licensing requirements
  • Skilled in Business Alliances, Business Development, and Partner Management.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Partner Incentives
  • In-depth understanding of eligibility criteria for Microsoft Partner Incentives for CSPs
  • Knowledgeable & skilled in creating strategies for maximizing Revenue through Microsoft Partner Incentives.
