Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage: Guide a talented team of Service IT Engineers in the UK, ensuring strong collaboration, communication, and optimal performance.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Oversee daily operations to support your teams productivity and efficiency, maintaining our high level of service excellence.
  • Team Development: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and set growth goals in conjunction with the Service Manager.to support your team’s professional development.
  • Service Contracts: Play an integral part in promoting and managing service contracts, tailoring them to meet customer needs and ensuring continued satisfaction (both pre and post sales)
  • Tender Support: Assisting the sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as a technical expert and to promote service contracts.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide top-tier IT support to Field Service Engineers (FSEs), customers, and distributors, managing IT-related tickets in ZohoDesk and diagnosing system faults.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise through training sessions, ensuring the team stays up-to-date on the latest IT systems and technologies.
  • Wireless Site Surveys: Carry out wireless site surveys, analyse results, and offer solutions for smooth system integration.
  • Lead on Installations: Be the go-to lead for IT support during installations, ensuring seamless integration and escalation of issues as needed.
  • National Field Support: Support customers across the UK, with occasional travel to perform the role.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent), with ideally 2 years’ relevant experience in an IT Service role.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience delivering technical training and fostering team development.
  • Technically adept at troubleshooting and repairing IT medical products.
  • Strong knowledge of IP Networks, TCP/IP, and common hospital systems (e.g., DICOM, PACS, EMR).
  • Understanding of HL7, both the protocol and how it integrates with hospital systems.
  • Experience with Mindray IT Applications and Mirth/Telescope is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft-based OS (Windows 7, 10, Server 2008/2012/2016).
  • A can-do attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving team success.
  • Ability to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship
