Job Description Summary
As an Availity Developer, you are responsible for the detailed design, documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications for Availity business partners. Your SCRUM team responds to business partner needs, expectations, and challenges that are identified

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering the .NET Software Engineer I will develop and maintain payer customer implementations supporting our Authorizations suite. We anticipate this role to be ~90% back-end development with ~10% front-end development.  

Location: Remote US  

Developer Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing critical software systems and/or applications with a focus on continually improving our customer’s journey
  • seeking a strong Full Stack .NET Developer with advanced experience with Asp.Net, C#, MVC, jQuery, SQL, Database design and implementation, and .Net Framework.
  • Work with AWS native technologies such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, AmazonMQ, API Gateway, mySQL, Microservices, etc.
  • Design and develop advanced applications using .Net framework and other open source technologies
  • Work on serverless technologies, services and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
  • Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of alternative solutions
  • Ensure regulatory compliance requirements are addressed (e.g., PCI, PII, GDPR)
  • Demonstrate an innovative mentality by staying aware of new developments within the technology space and identify which modern technologies to adapt to provide value to our business.
  • Ensure commitments are delivered on time, pass unit testing, meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Support enterprise quality assurance teams
  • Work closely with team members in agile development environment where continuous integration and continuous delivery are critical.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
  • Support development to maximize cloud native adoption.
  • Size and estimate development efforts. Define and manage development build plans.
  • Analyze and refactor code periodically to keep it up to standards.
