Network Architect with Python

Job Description

Network Architects will partner with data science and artificial intelligence researchers to hand-write diagnostic steps and solutions, such regular expression (regex) patterns used to collect data required to confirm vulnerability of software defects and security vulnerabilities, and to validate outputs produced by AI models. The person selected will use their knowledge of network troubleshooting and command line interface diagnostic commands to assess that the model output contains valid information for further diagnosing a problem. SMEs will also provide write-ups for recommended actions and impact statements associated with problem statements to further define expert input.

Mandatory Skills: Cisco R&S/DNAC/ SDA (ACI/DNA/Catalyst Center ) SDWAN (Meraki), Phyton scripting with strong Ansible

Required Exp/Skills

Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Cisco routing and switching products and solutions, focusing on campus and enterprise networks.
Intermediate to expert level experience troubleshooting network issues.
Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Cisco command line interface and diagnosing network problems using “show” commands.
Intermediate knowledge and familiarity of the types of information available in command line interface “show” commands.
Intermediate level experience working with and creating regular expressions (regex) and the ability to visually interpret and validate search patterns against text.
Intermediate level experience performing software recommendations, evaluating software defects, or troubleshooting network problems where a defect may cause an issue.
Intermediate to expert level experience in documenting methods of action and recommendations for network problems and being able to assess the impact that a change could have in a network.
Intermediate level of proficiency in Python, and the ability to interpret and write Python code. Interaction with 3rd party APIs and resources through REST.
Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of automation frameworks, such as Ansible and Terraform.

English Required: B2 or Higher
