Human Resources Technology Manager-Workday, Assurant-GCC, India

As the Human Resources Technology Manager, you will support the Global People Organization initiatives through project management, configuration, development, analysis, and reporting to deliver Digital Solutions using multiple technologies. This will include working jointly with the People Organization and Technology groups to create and maintain business processes, reporting, analytics, and data management that support the achievement of business goals using best practices, effectiveness, and efficiency.

This position will be Remote at our India location. But we are looking for the candidates from Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad regions only.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Project management of key initiatives to improve HR Technology configurations, application capabilities, and reporting to increase productivity, adoption and provide automation
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and redesign HR processes to improve efficiency, user experience and process adoption
  • Research and test new product features to provide new capabilities that increase productivity, improve experience and automate common tasks for all users
  • Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, data compliance with global regulations and document data requirements for data warehouse reporting
  • Team lead for cross functional implementations and mentoring resources to ensure successful completion of key initiatives 
  • Design Workday advanced reporting solutions, dashboards and embedded analytics to improve decision making within business processes
  • System Management: Oversee the business processing of Workday HCM modules, ensuring system integrity and performance; Maintain procedural documentation for standard support services
  • Implementation of Workday upgrades and new features that are aligned to the HR Technology Roadmap and HR Functional priorities
  • Provide support to HR functional groups to maximize technological capabilities and setup audit processing to ensure data quality and successful completion of processing
  • Support end-user training and documentation of Technology improvements to communicate to HR and stakeholders.  Enable processes to survey users of HR Technology that will be used to plan future enhancements and new technology capabilities

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related Information Systems.
  • Management and Technical experience in all functional areas of Workday Human Capital Management applications, including Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Time Keeping, and Absence to support business process design, development, testing, and reporting responsibilities.
  • 4 years of experience with Workday HR Technology or related experience
  • 2 years of experience with Workday technology upgrades, implementations, and data management
  • Thorough understanding of planning, analysis, development, and testing approaches. Requires ability to coordinate change management planning, issues tracking, and issue resolution
  • Extensive problem-solving experience using a structured process improvement methodology (i.e. DMAIC)
  • Excellent consultation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Educated or certified in Workday HCM configurations, Reporting, integrations
  • Requires ability to plan implementations and manage resources across HR, business, and technology
  • Proven analytical skills, including the ability to analyze a variety of data and process workflows to identify issues, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and present in a clear, concise, and easily understandable manner to business stakeholders
  • Excellent consultation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines
