Summary of Job Duties:
The Regional Campuses are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Analytics, this role will oversee all database functions and ensure the integrity of integrated data into a cloud-based CRM. The Data Analyst will collaborate with internal and external partners to correct data, streamline workflows, create and manage integrated applications, and optimize data collection processes. Additionally, the Data Analyst will facilitate the data needs for multiple federal grants and partner programs, providing key support for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Informatics, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data management, database administration, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficiency in managing cloud-based databases (e.g., Salesforce) and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong data auditing, reporting, and process optimization skills.
- Experience with coding (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) and form development tools.
- Ability to train, support, and troubleshoot database issues for users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Database Management and Process Optimization
- Oversee the management and optimization of cloud-based databases, including Salesforce, ensuring efficient and secure data storage.
- Serve as the primary super user and trouble-shooter for the central Regional Programs student database.
- Train staff and external partners on database use, including best practices for data entry and process efficiency.
- Ensure all program, grant, trainee, and tracking data entry remains current, suggesting improvements to streamline database reports and processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external developers to address technical issues and enhance database functionality.
- Ensure compliance with data security protocols and federal regulations.
Data Entry and Data Collection Form Management
- Manage the creation, integration, and maintenance of data entry forms within systems like Salesforce, ensuring alignment with program and grant requirements.
- Facilitate data collection from external partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Collect and compile program reports, along with pre- and post-evaluation forms for Regional Programs as requested by program managers.
- Standardize data entry procedures and provide training to both internal teams and external partners.
- Provide feedback on data collection methods, recommending process improvements where applicable.
Data Auditing and Quality Control
- Partner with the data auditor to perform regular audits of database contents, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Implement corrections and improvements based on audit findings to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with conducting various program and student tracking reports, utilizing resources such as the National Student Clearinghouse, Regional Programs databases, and other relevant tools.
Data Reporting and Coordination
- Support the generation of reports for federal grants, internal/external programs, and Regional Programs using compiled data.
- Assist with various quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports as required for federal, state, and local supervisors and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure data-related needs are addressed efficiently.
- Provide data support and troubleshooting for stakeholders as needed.
