General Contractor Strategic Account Executive – Dallas, TX or Central USA

The Regional GC Strategic Account Executive is responsible for creating and building relationships with the largest national general contractor accounts in the region. As part of a national team your goal will be to establish Allegion GC services as the standard for the key GC accounts throughout your region while collaborating with your teammates throughout the country.

What You Will Do:

  • Establish strategy for business development with the key national construction firms in the region

  • Lead relationship building efforts with targeted construction managers and design-builders

  • Sell preconstruction services such as product selection, process selection, scheduling and scopes of work.

  • Manage project deliverables, handoffs and meetings

  • Attend major GC events, trade shows and conferences

  • Collaborate with and mentor the GC hybrid sales consultants

  • Gain executive buy-in and adoption of Allegion services from top GC firms

  • Contribute to the plan for monetizing GC services through the relationships you build and understanding of their business

  • Promote and sell the Overtur solution and resources

  • Learn and utilize the suite of digital tools and marketing offered by Allegion to architects and GCs.

  • Collaborate and make joint calls with local RSO sales teams

  • Connect internal sales members to opportunities and stay involved in the overall process.

  • Obtain Mastery level knowledge of Allegion product application and installation principles.

  • Maintain market knowledge and be able to speak confidently about project delivery method trends, growth patterns, construction investment strategy and network with key influencers in the region.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 5+ years of direct experience partnering with or working for a general contractor

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred

  • Proven track record of successful project management or sales involving building supply or construction management services

  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written with a bias for action

  • Knowledge of door industry preferred

  • Knowledge of construction industry required, specifically plan and specification comprehension

  • Strong connections to key players within industry

  • Ability to navigate active construction sites and handle related equipment

  • Ability to travel 30%

  • Position is specific to the Central US Sales Region.

  • Preference given to candidates living in Dallas, Texas, but open to candidates in Chicago, St Louis, Columbus, Houston, Austin, Louisville and Detroit.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected total compensation range: $120,000-$150,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
