Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d)

We're seeking a passionate and solution-oriented Senior Data Engineer for our Product Analytics Team. The mission of the Product Analytics team is to empower every product team at LeanIX to take data-inspired actions via a robust and scalable analytics infrastructure. It is the responsibility of Senior Data Engineer in the team to provide the tools, best practices, and expert guidance for how to use the infrastructure.

As Senior Data Engineer you are not only an individual contributor but support your team with a strong customer-centric mindset and a drive to take on ownership over product capabilities or technical components. You will empower our product teams with the right approach, architecture, and tools to provide effective and efficient data in Databricks.

• ETL, Date Lakehousing & ML/AI workflows on Databricks
• Microservices based on Node.js/Typescript, Kotlin and Python
• Infrastructure based on Azure ecosystem, Kubernetes, & Docker
• API technologies such as REST and GraphQL

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Have a passion for both engineering and data and an understanding how they relate
• You have experience in building high-performance data pipelines based on Databricks or similar tech stack
• You approach data enginering with a DevOps mindset using Github Actions, Terraform Cloud and Databricks Bundles
• Extensive hands-on experience with one of the before mentioned programming languages, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Familiarity with up-to-date data engineering tools and industry best practices is highly desirable
• Open communication style and fluent written and spoken English skills are required
