Job description

Are you a skilled Tax Accountant with a knack for Philippine bookkeeping and compliance with the BIR and SEC? Join us in ensuring seamless tax operations, from preparing returns to managing audits and assessments. 


What you will do:

  • Manage and organize company financial records, focusing on tax-related documentation and loose-leaf bookkeeping.
  • Prepare, process, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports (e.g., Withholding Taxes, VAT) with precision.
  • Handle Summary Lists of Sales and Purchases, quarterly alphalists, and annual alphalists for expanded withholding tax.
  • Ensure full compliance with national and local tax regulations, maintaining strong communication with BIR and SEC.
  • Coordinate external audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, reconcile G/L and bank accounts, and assist with month-end processes.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required in liaising with stakeholders
  • 2-3 years in government compliance and taxation, including filing and reporting
  • Relevant experience in accounting firms is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong Excel skills
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Technician (CTT) certification is an advantage
