Driving Strategic Procurement Initiatives: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure alignment with Solventum’s business objectives.
Leading High-Value Projects: Managing complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver significant value to the organization while addressing long-term needs within the Metals and Molding categories.
Enhancing Supplier Relationships: Building and maintaining strong supplier partnerships to ensure consistent delivery of quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
Providing Expert Guidance: Serving as the go-to subject matter expert for the Metals and Molding categories, providing insights and recommendations to influence key business decisions.
Optimizing Supply Chain Performance: Analyzing market trends, benchmarking supplier performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and mitigate risks.
Championing Collaboration: Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with technical and operational requirements.
Executing Complex Negotiations: Leading high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms that support Solventum’s strategic and financial objectives.
Your Skills and Expertise

Knowledge of supplier markets and cost drivers in these industries.
SAP Experience
Experience at a MedTech company
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop cost-efficient strategies.
Experience with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modelling.
Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Strong communication skills to align internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiation and Contract Management experience
Advanced negotiation skills with experience in high-value contracts.
Focus on balancing short-term results with long-term partnerships.
Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes in Metals and Molding.
Experience aligning procurement strategies with production needs.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
