Job description

Clear Function is a software development agency located in Memphis, TN. We love designing and building complex payment and SaaS platforms that help our clients realize their vision. We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the entire growth strategy, including brand, marketing, sales, PR, and business development, with the primary goal of increasing revenue.

This role combines leadership with direct involvement in closing deals as the primary Sales Executive. Must have strong, demonstrable experience growing software agencies. Preference will be given for strong relationships in the payments and/or fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development Strategy - Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth.

  • Sales Leadership - Recruit and manage sales resources, establishing sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Lead Generation and Pipeline Management - Oversee the generation and qualification of leads, ensuring a robust and healthy sales pipeline that aligns with company goals.

  • Brand Positioning and Marketing Leadership - Lead brand identity and marketing efforts to align growth initiatives with branding efforts, content strategy, and thought leadership campaigns.

  • Executive, CX, and Engineering Team Collaboration - Work closely with the executive, CX, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation as well as a seamless transition from sales to project execution, maintaining client satisfaction throughout the process.

  • Event and Networking Representation - Lead the identification of key opportunities, and represent Clear Function at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and identify potential leads.

  • Large Account Relationships - Participate in reviews and strategic planning for the preservation and growth of key, large accounts.

  • Market Research and Analysis - Conduct market research to identify industry trends, client pain points, and competitive landscape, and translate findings into actionable business strategies.

  • Proposal Development and Negotiation - Lead the preparation of client proposals and pitch presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and Clear Function’s capabilities. Negotiate contracts to close deals effectively.

  • Forecasting and Reporting - Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, including sales forecasts, revenue growth analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Location:

  • We are based Germantown, TN but are open to remote candidates in the U.S. who are available to work between 8am and 5pm CST, Monday through Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $120,000–$160,000 (+ commission) expected based on experience
