WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Total Rewards Consulting Director for Nike EMEA. You will work with our Total Rewards Teams to provide comprehensive consulting and analytical support for the corporate and/or business unit compensation, mobility and benefits programs.

This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience consulting on Total Rewards-related topics and applying new perspectives and approaches to drive a premium employee experience and solve complex challenges. The person in this role will consult on Total Rewards Strategy for the assigned business unit(s) in alignment with the Global Total Rewards Strategy as well as serve as a trusted expert for other compensation, mobility and benefits-related programs, processes or questions.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be working on:

  • Leading the design and/or implementation of Global Total Rewards initiatives in the Geography

  • Lead through consultation processes (e.g. works councils) to implement / change TR & Mobility Program change initiatives

  • In partnership with Geography and Territory business and HR leadership, leading the design and/or implementation of Geo/Territory Total Rewards programs, in conjunction with partners (e.g., Global Benefits, Global Mobility) or within own team

  • Bringing the voice of the Geo to the team with regard to program needs and portfolio management

  • Ensuring the country specific compensation practices are identified and complied

  • Proactively develops teammates through providing feedback, developmental opportunities and mentorship.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

 The Total Rewards Consultant also functions as go-to market arm of Total Rewards to effectively plan and manage transition management/communications efforts of programs and projects with partners across HR and the business. In addition, this role will provide insights on Total Rewards programs to inform and champion program design that reflects Nike’s values, employee preferences and market realities.

This role serves at leadership level in a balanced way, and is able to influence and align with senior stakeholders. The role will be managing a team of Total Rewards and Mobility professionals. 

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Proven and solid experience in the compensation professional field. Progressively responsible experience directly consulting on compensation and/or benefits-related work

  • Expert level knowledge of trends and developments in compensation and/or benefits, including relevant legal issues

  • Business and financial acumen

  • Results oriented, customer service, critical thinker, change agility, communication and influence skills, collaborative mindset                    

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent project management and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, as well as exposure to Total Rewards-specific applications

  • Management and People development skills 

  • Conceptualizes the direction of the work, and assigns work accordingly to team members

  • Ability to work autonomously with little daily guidance

  • Ability to explain difficult issues and work to build consensus

  • Capable of making decisions within guidelines and policies

  • Impacts a range of standard and non-standard customer, operational, process, project or service activities

  • Is accountable for large projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements

  • Performs work in support of brand plans; demonstrates link between daily work and company strategy; participates in key Total Rewards-related initiatives, programs or products.
