Job Summary:

Administratively responsible for design, implementation and monitoring of Pharmacy Growth and Improvement Program. Directs and leads initiatives to ensure support from all health system operational/clinical departments in order to meet strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements such as clinical improvement programs, operation and financial performance improvement, process improvement and the annual evaluation of Pharmacy performance. Conducts due diligence on pharmacy related digital health applications for potential funding, collaboration, and integration opportunities across the system. Responsible for leading Enterprise Pharmacy innovations, identification of gaps in services, impact opportunity, and preparation of actual business plans to support the mission of Enterprise Pharmacy.

Job Duties:

  • Analyzes operational and financial performance of pharmacy distribution channels and medication Carepaths
  • Identifies opportunities for operation and financial improvement and drives associated improvement initiatives
  • Conducts clinical outcome analysis in coordination with pharmacy date analysis and clinical stakeholders
  • Designs, plans, and implements workforce and geographic expansion
  • Internal stakeholder and external partner/client management
  • Coordinates all external health system business development and payer network development for associated distribution channel and/or Carepath
  • Supports technology selection, strategy, and implementation activities
  • Provides administrative oversight of all quality and process improvement initiatives that assure access to high quality pharmaceutical care, clinical best practice guidelines, contribution margin impact, and alignment to relevant disruptive technology trends.
  • Engages project teams and leads the development of effective work plans for defined project implementation.
