About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level GTM Finance Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will support our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies by providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights that drive business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their finance career to gain valuable experience and grow within our organization.
Your Area of Focus
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and forecasts related to GTM activities. This includes gathering data, performing variance analysis, and identifying trends to provide actionable insights that improve financial performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, such as sales and marketing to gather and analyze data. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by collaborating with these teams to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Financial Modeling: Support the development and maintenance of financial models to evaluate the performance of GTM initiatives. This involves creating and updating models that forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability, and using these models to inform strategic decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts. Identify the reasons for any discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions to improve outcomes.
- Presentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. This includes summarizing financial data, creating visualizations, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed. This could involve researching market trends, analyzing competitor performance, or supporting special initiatives that require financial expertise.
Your Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous Investment Banking internship or experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
