What You Will Do

As an Associate, Sales Operations, you will take ownership of the Natural/Grocery (Direct) customer channel, playing a key role in its operational success. Your responsibilities will include managing customer forecasts, overseeing customer inventory and PO execution, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of retailer resets and weekly inventory requirements. Externally, you will collaborate with customers to build a trusted, open line of communication while ensuring alignment on go forward forecast. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the annual planning process and monthly forecasting, conducting in-depth analysis, identifying key trends, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business success. 

Responsibilities

  • PO Execution 
    • Own and manage the execution of POs to optimize on-time and in-full fulfillment.
    • Work within NetSuite and Power BI, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Resets
    • Lead and execute customer resets in collaboration with the sales team, broker partners, and operations team.
  • Revenue Pacing & Reporting
    • Own and track revenue pacing metrics, delivering weekly and monthly updates to keep teams aligned and informed.
  • Forecast Optimization
    • Refine and improve the forecasting process by enhancing internal communication and collaboration.
    • Refine and improve existing models to enhance current forecast process. These tools will be used to monitor customer consumption, sales forecasts, inventory levels, weeks of stock, ordering patterns, and forecast variances.
  • Communication & Relationship Building
    • Act as a key point of contact for sales operations communication with retail partners (e.g., Kroger broker team, HEB forecast team). Build strong relationships while collaborating across teams to enhance operational excellence.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Partner with the Sales team, consultants, and the BAT team to develop strategic annual plans for direct natural grocery customers.
  • Data & Reporting Accuracy
    • Support the operations and BAT teams with MAPE reporting and other accuracy-focused initiatives within Power BI 

Who You Are

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales operations, account management, or customer management in the CPG industry, including but not limited to broker partners, vendors, distributors, grocery, data, etc
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in demand planning, inventory management, or data analysis. Must have excellent Excel skills.
  • Experience with forecasting tools & Power BI is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and external customers
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 + 15% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
