Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst with a strong quantitative background and a passion for bridging the gap between data analytics and financial planning. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role will focus on forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and BI reporting while aligning financial insights with the broader organizational strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys digging into the numbers to uncover insights that drive business decisions. 

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive forecasting models and financial plans. 

Perform ad hoc analysis to support decision-making and identify key business drivers. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain dynamic reporting tools using platforms such as Looker and Power BI. 

Analyze financial impacts, identify underlying trends, and provide actionable recommendations. 

Serve as the go-to resource for data analytics within the FP&A function, ensuring insights align with financial goals. 

Work with NetSuite ERP system owners and other internal stakeholders to provide accurate reporting and analysis. Assist in aligning financial reporting processes across multiple teams and systems.

 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 

5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or data analytics, ideally in CPG or SaaS industries. 

Proficiency in Looker, Power BI, or similar tools and familiarity with NetSuite ERP or similar systems. 

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. 

Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 

Exceptional problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented approach. 

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills: 

Familiarity with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting application. 

Familiarity with SaaS revenue accounting, reporting, and related KPIs. 

Experience in a PE-backed organization.
