Job description

 Overview:

WiredPeople is looking for an Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) Recruitment Specialist to join our public health teams. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, and will work remotely supporting an EST timezone public health team. 

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and update recruitment documentation, which includes PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, registration system information, metadata and any additional content related to eCR onboarding and enrollment.
  • Engage with hospitals, vendors, and hospital systems regarding eCR and RCKMS, which includes facility recruiting, training, testing, and postproduction troubleshooting.
  • Engage with the CDC onboarding team for facilities that are actively in the enrollment and testing process for eCR.
  • Maintain website for eCR including reporting requirements and facility participation status.
  • Develop and administer survey to all hospitals and vendors regarding their eCR readiness and overall feedback with the eCR program.
  • Maintain and update paper shut-off standards for eCR, including tracking paper shut-off status for all facilities enrolled in eCR.
  • Update and maintain a targeted outreach plan based on a health care facility's electronic health record vendor readiness.
  • Participate in national eCR workgroups (CSTE, CDC, APHL) to collaborate and learn from peers on eCR topics of interest.
  • Perform additional tasks, including response activities.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience conducting trainings, presentations, and audience engagement.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to command presence of an audience during trainings and/or presentations are preferred.
  • Three years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Six months of experience in informatics, including familiarity with standardized vocabulary, interoperability between systems, and a general understanding of how informatics supports public health surveillance is preferred.
