Position Summary:
The Consultant for Vendor and Partner Relationships will be responsible for fostering and managing strategic relationships with vendors and partners. This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can coordinate communications, maintain comprehensive vendor data, drive knowledge-sharing efforts, and facilitate successful engagements between vendor executives and internal business units. By serving as the primary contact and escalation point, this position ensures seamless vendor management and alignment with organizational objectives.
Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with all vendors to ensure alignment with business goals and maintain Engage fi brand awareness.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Engage fi and vendor/vendor executives.
- Regularly assess vendor performance to ensure quality and value delivery.
Vendor Data and Profile Management:
- Collect, manage, and maintain comprehensive vendor profiles, including customer data, win/loss records, product roadmaps, and executive contacts.
Continuously update vendor-related data and ensure it is accessible and accurate.Coordination of Engagements:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between vendor executives (all domains/divisions/departments as appropriate) and Engage fi business units to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Facilitate discussions around strategic goals, product updates, and mutual opportunities.
Internal Education and Knowledge Sharing:
- Develop and deliver educational resources and sessions to keep Engage fi teams informed about vendor capabilities, product roadmaps, and key updates.
- Act as a subject matter expert on vendor offerings and share insights that enhance team knowledge.
Portal and Data Management:
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of a centralized vendor portal for easy access to profiles, documents, and key data.
- Ensure the portal remains up-to-date and user-friendly for all stakeholders.
Primary Contact and Escalation Point:
- Serve as the central conduit for all vendor-related communications, ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Address and escalate vendor-related issues to appropriate teams, ensuring timely resolutions.
Strategic Expansion:
- Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships with vendors, exploring additional ways to participate/speak at key vendor events, annual users conferences, etc.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop joint initiatives or programs that benefit mutual clients.
Performance Reporting and Analysis:
- Regularly track and analyze vendor performance, providing reports to senior leadership.
- Use data insights to recommend improvements and drive vendor accountability.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance vendor management efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in vendor and partner engagement.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in vendor management, partner relationship management, or consulting.
- Proficiency in data management tools and CRM platforms.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Position Type/Expected hours of Work:
- Full Time/ 40 hours per week
