This is a remote position.
Scope:
Initially work set hours during 9 AM to 5 PM Newfoundland Standard Time, with potential for flexibility later (20 hours per week - flexible schedule)
Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously
Perform various bookkeeping tasks excluding accounts receivable
Assist with financial cleanups and reconciliations as needed
Collaborate remotely with the existing team
Potential for role expansion based on performance and business growth
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable (AP) processes
Conduct financial reconciliations
Assist with cleanup projects for client accounts
Work collaboratively with in-house bookkeeper to share workload
Complete assigned tasks within the company’s operation system
Adapt to flexible working hours within the 9 AM to 5 PM Newfoundland Standard Time frame
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software and operational systems
Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific processes
