Who we are
Brivity VA, a brand of PLACE, is looking for a self-starting video editor + graphic designer to advocate for our client’s business through digital content management. The ideal candidate for this position has a can-do attitude, willingness to work alongside the client during business hours, a tireless work ethic, an insatiable appetite for growth, and a creative storyteller!
What is expected of you
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos (typically under 1-2 minutes).
- Create motion graphics, titles, overlays, and other visual elements to enhance video storytelling.
- Integrate sound, music, and audio effects to complement the visual content.
- Work closely with the content team to understand the video goals and creative vision.
- Ensure all video content meets technical specifications and platform requirements (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Adapt videos for different social media platforms and formats while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in video editing, graphic design, and social media content.
- Collaborate with other team members, including producers and social media managers, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
What you need to possess
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form content.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and graphic design tools (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform-specific requirements (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity, with a passion for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Step 1: Career Consultation | In this step, you meet with our career consultants for about 30-45 minutes to discuss the job opportunities in our organization relative to the ones you are looking for. We also make sure that you have the right technology to carry out the job from the comfort of your home. We will also be reviewing your portfolio at this time.
Step 2: Edit and Design Exercise | In this step, you will be asked to complete an exercise that highlights your creativity, eye for design, typography, and overall visual storytelling.
Step 3: Onboarding | That’s it! Once you have completed the first two steps, you get started right away. We recognize talents when we see one.

Salary: Up to Php 67,500 per month depending on skill/experience
