Back End Developer

Job Title: BFF Developer (Back-End for Front-End)

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 6-12 Months or longer

Schedule: 40 hours/week

About the Role:

We are seeking a Backend For Frontend (BFF) Developer. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business and technical requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
  • Build efficient, scalable, and high-quality BFF solutions leveraging Apollo/GraphQL.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality and performance.
  • Act as an SME, mentoring team members and ensuring project success.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Microservices framework (API design).
  • Strong knowledge of application design and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Apollo Server, Apollo Router, and Express Server.
  • Basic knowledge of APIMs and Azure Cloud concepts.
