Purpose:  

We are seeking a temporary Training / L&D Contractor to support key training initiatives at Edible Brands. This role will focus on three primary areas: collaborating with stakeholders to design instructional materials for franchisee training, recording product training videos for seasonal arrangements, and managing and maintaining content in our Learning Management System (LMS). 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with subject matter experts to gather and transform information into clear, actionable resources.  

This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the development of impactful training materials that support franchisee success and elevate our Edible University programs. 

Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday – Thursday, with work-from-home flexibility Fridays.  

Other Details: Considering part-time or full-time support for about 12 weeks (20-40 hours / week) 

Responsibilities:  

  • Capture Product Training Videos: Record training videos for seasonal arrangements (Summer, Fall, Holiday 2025) using a Canon DSLR camera, ensuring high-quality footage, including 360-degree views of arrangements, for post-production editing
  • Assist with LMS Administration: Upload training content into the Learning Management System (LMS). Verify content is updated and accurate. Support by maintaining and updating evergreen content to ensure ongoing relevance.
  • Instructional Design for Franchisee Training Materials
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather, interpret, and organize content for Edible University and Annual Franchisee Convention Training 
  • Collaborate with the L&D Manager to design and refine Edible University materials, including manuals and take-home workbooks
  • Develop comprehensive training resources that include operational procedures, employee management guidance, and best practices for franchisees
  • Ensure materials are clear, practical, and aligned with business goals to support franchisee success
  • Other Ad-hoc support as needed: 
    • Collaborate with the L&D team to support the creation and coordination of training materials for the annual Edible Arrangements Franchisee Convention in July 20205
    • Help with logistics and content organization for the convention, ensuring smooth execution of training sessions and presentations

Required Experience & Essential Competencies:  

  • Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and synthesize complex information into clear, actionable training content.
  • Familiarity with basic video recording techniques using DSLR cameras, including capturing high-quality footage for training purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including uploading content, maintaining evergreen materials, and ensuring content accuracy is helpful but not required
  • Foundational knowledge & experience of the following
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Articulate RISE
    • Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
    • Video Editing tools
  • Preferred Experience in the following: 
    • Adobe Premier
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Articulate 360 Suite of products (Storyline, Replay, Peek, Quizmaker, Engage),
    • Knowledge of Instructional Design practices & Adult Education Theory
