Job description

Responsibility

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth and profitability.
  • Provide expert financial guidance to the executive leadership team.
  • Oversee long-term financial planning, including risk assessment and mitigation.

Financial Management:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee treasury operations.

Operational Oversight:

  • Spearhead financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance processes.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
  • Communicate financial performance to internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategic management.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory frameworks in Singapore or Malaysia.
  • Experience working in a multinational company or complex organizational structures is an advantage.
