What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Contracting and Value Based Purchasing Senior Financial Analyst to join our Contract and Practice Management Team. The primary responsibilities include research and gather current claim and financial information to analyze trends in service utilization and perform cost-benefit analysis to promote data informed decision making in support of key business objectives. The Contracting and Value Based Purchasing Sr. Financial Analyst will generate reports to support performance improvement and value-based purchasing projects. This position will work closely with multiple units and departments to develop and implement strategies related to value-based purchasing.
On a typical day, you might:
- Examine trends, claim statistics, and provider payments to monitor achievement of department goals, improve processes and determine claims processing accuracy/timeliness.
- Analyze data trends and work with providers and stakeholders to implement proactive strategies to improve member outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide technical assistance related to provider performance and the financial impact of value-based purchasing.
- Calculate qualitative and quantitative Return on Investment (ROI) in value-based payment/reimbursement contracts/projects.
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports to track various metrics related to key performance measures and medical expenditure in value-based purchasing.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to validate the availability of funding for contracts.

Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with four (4) years of experience in business administration, accounting, or financial analysis.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with two (2) years of experience in business administration, accounting, or financial analysis.
OR
Equivalent combination of higher education/experience.
Preferred Education:
A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Required License/Certification:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Location:
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.
