The Team:

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a dynamic product manager to join our Report Automation team. Our team is focused on driving productivity and efficiency for users of the Capital IQ Pro platform to produce client-ready reports.  We value creativity, agility, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that drive user success. Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Work with multiple groups, customers, and key stakeholders to gather and refine requirements that can be turned into features products by the Technology team.

  • Work closely with our Commercial partners to understand the client needs and workflows, our competition, and be able to articulate the value proposition of our products.

  • Analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve product features and performance.

  • Define stories and prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of project priorities, while maintaining the vision and technical integrity of the product

  • Engage with Scrum Team on delivery related activities and create a release plan in partnership.

  • Ensure stories are executed within the overall release plan at the project and team level.

  • Measure success of your products through both qualitative and quantitative data

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,289 to $91,872.25. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience in product management or a related field, preferably in a technology or software development environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.

  • Curiosity about emerging technology and trends

  • Understanding of investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, and similar functions

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial data industry and competitive landscape as well as an understanding of market data delivery platforms and their reporting capabilities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

  • Experience with Generative AI and presentation creation technologies.

  • Knowledge and experience working with semi-structured and/or unstructured data and data repositories used for innovation analysis.
