Job description

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Development Manager to join their team, focused on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and financial products. This remote position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial markets and a passion for driving new business initiatives within the investment landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the ETFs and financial products sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships with institutional investors, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and enhance product offerings.
  • Present product strategies and opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and expand professional relationships.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly reports outlining business development efforts, market insights, and growth prospects to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the financial services industry, with a focus on ETFs or financial products.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory environments pertaining to ETFs and related products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (required).
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
