This is a new role that will report to the Clinical Educator Manager, Clinical Success.
As a Clinical Educator of Signify Health’s Clinical Education team, you will work closely with the Clinical Success team and other cross functional clinical teams to proactively create clinical and non-clinical content based on researching best practices, national practice guidelines and field observations throughout your tenure with Signify Health. This role will strengthen clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement of educational material provided by the Clinical Education team.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned clinician with clinical education experience who is passionate to proactively identify clinical development needs, enjoys training others, and empowers other clinicians to learn from content created by the team.
What will you do?
- Create and develop clinical content to educate the clinical colleagues and internal staff
- Create and develop non-clinical content to educate the clinical colleagues on Signify policies and best practices to ensure a positive member experience and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate clinical expertise as a writer, educator, clinician, consultant, presenter, and facilitator
- Support high quality documentation by collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and solve trending opportunities
- Maintain, revise or adapt existing clinical and non-clinical content to meet the clinical network needs
- Collaborate effectively with the Marketing and Development team to produce clinician educational training materials
- Collaborate effectively with the Diagnostic and Preventive Services team to produce clinician educational training material
- Create referral to the Marketing and Development team to transition clinical network educational material into a digestible format
- Review education content on a scheduled cadence in the LMS to improve and enhance the learning experience and outcomes for our clinician network
- Be a subject matter expert regarding clinical network education team procedures
- Perform field observations with clinical network to gain insight on educational needs
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by leadership in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active state nursing license (unencumbered) required; no history of prior license actions or board-ordered restrictions that would prevent obtaining licensure in additional states upon request
- Experience as a clinical educator and/or professional development in a hospital, clinic or corporate healthcare setting, required
- Experience in adult education principles
- Experience in risk adjustment and coding, preferred
- Knowledge and expertise across the lifespan including, experience with health assessment, obtaining health history from patients and performing a physical examination
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience pertinent to the member population(s)
- Demonstrates leadership, coaching, precepting, and/or mentoring experience, required
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings and performing field observations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse groups of internal and external groups in a fast-paced environment
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Creative, adaptable

- Ability to create content in an explanatory and procedural style for multiple audiences
- Proficient in SalesForce, Google Suite
- Ability to act with the guidance of the Clinical Educator Manager and senior leadership in decision making to fulfill priorities and meet critical deadlines
The base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
