Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Visage Consultant to join our team to assist in the implementation and migration of imaging systems from a variety of PACS programs to the Visage platform. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that healthcare providers have a smooth experience with their new Visage system.

Job Summary: The Visage Consultant will provide expertise and guidance throughout the implementation process of migrating imaging data and workflows from a variety of PACS programs to Visage. This role will involve collaboration with internal teams, IT professionals, clinical staff, and external vendors to ensure that the transition is smooth, efficient, and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PACS to Visage Migration:

    • Lead and coordinate the migration of imaging systems from multiple PACS programs to Visage, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of existing PACS infrastructure to ensure all relevant data and workflows are migrated correctly and efficiently to Visage.
    • Troubleshoot any issues related to the migration and work with the technical teams to resolve them.
  2. Consulting & Advisory Services:

    • Act as the subject matter expert on Visage solutions, providing guidance on best practices for integration, deployment, and optimization within the healthcare environment.
    • Conduct system analysis and process reviews to recommend improvements for optimizing imaging workflows in Visage.
    • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to ensure the new system meets all technical, operational, and compliance requirements.
  3. Training & Support:

    • Provide training to healthcare providers, clinicians, radiologists, and IT staff on using the Visage system.
    • Develop training materials and user guides tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
    • Offer ongoing support to ensure user adoption and troubleshoot any operational challenges post-implementation.
  4. Project Management:

    • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation of Visage.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing, user acceptance, and validation of the new system.
    • Identify and address any project risks or roadblocks and work with stakeholders to ensure they are resolved promptly.
  5. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay up to date with new features and best practices related to Visage and PACS systems.
    • Share insights and recommendations with clients to optimize their use of Visage and improve imaging processes.
    • Gather user feedback and suggest system or workflow improvements to enhance performance and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Radiology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience with PACS systems, radiology workflows, and healthcare IT infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise with Visage or similar imaging solutions (e.g., Client Healthcare, Siemens, Philips) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, and other relevant healthcare IT standards.
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and IT project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in healthcare IT (e.g., HIT, RHIA) is a plus.
