About the Team
The mission of the business strategy & analytics team is to ensure the entire company understands business performance and trends, and to empower all business teams to make good decisions with data. 

We are seeking a talented Senior Growth Analyst to join our team, a role that will directly enable the success of our marketing campaigns across Scribd's three brands; Scribd, Slideshare and Everand. This position focuses on developing insights to optimize multi-channel campaigns, measuring their effectiveness, and driving growth across our subscription an ads-based business. This role will partner closely with our Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams to shape strategies that promote brand awareness, increase brand familiarity, and drive user acquisition through innovative marketing initiatives and effective measurement and analysis.

You Will:
  • Collaborate with growth product, marketing, and creative teams to establish new measurement frameworks, analyze and refine multi-channel marketing strategies, focusing on paid and organic campaigns. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns such as multi-channel brand campaigns. Including video, influencer programs, activation campaigns, and social content. 
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of campaign performance, measuring KPIs such as brand familiarity, user acquisition, and conversion. 
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders, informing optimizations for brand campaigns, our State of Reading Report, and influencer partnerships. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports and own communication of critical marketing metrics and campaign performance to team leads and executive stakeholders.
  • Work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection, campaign tracking, and integrity of marketing insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ideate, execute, and measure experiments, ensuring campaigns are data-driven and results-oriented. 
  • Stay informed about the latest marketing trends, analytics tools, and methodologies to continuously improve campaign performance and measurement methodologies.

  • You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in growth analytics or marketing analytics, with a strong focus on multi-channel campaigns.
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Looker.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical concepts, including experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science).
  • Understanding of measurement methodologies and reporting capabilities in ad platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of A/B experimentation, including designing and analyzing geo-lift tests.
  • Experience with attribution methodologies such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution, or position-based attribution is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile workflows and collaboration across creative, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • A passion for analyzing user behavior and proven ability to combine marketing and campaign data with customer-level data to understand key drivers of performance.
  • At Scribd, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. San Francisco is our highest geographic market in the United States.

    In the state of California, the reasonably expected salary range is between $92,500 [minimum salary in our lowest geographic market within California] to $149,500 [maximum salary in our highest geographic market within California]. 

    In the United States, outside of California, the reasonably expected salary range is between $76,000 [minimum salary in our lowest US geographic market outside of California] to $142,000 [maximum salary in our highest US geographic market outside of California]. 

    In Canada, the reasonably expected salary range is between $95,500 CAD [minimum salary in our lowest geographic market] to $142,000 CAD [maximum salary in our highest geographic market]. 

    We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a competitive equity ownership, and a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
