CopperPoint is seeking an experienced, versatile Sr. Communications & Social Media Marketing Specialist to support the team in effectively promoting CopperPoint’s message across channels. In this fully-remote role your key responsibility will be creating content that strengthens our brand’s voice – whether through social media posts, website articles, infographics, or videos. You will also determine the best content formats to ensure high engagement and create campaigns to target key audiences. Objectives of this role
- Develop and execute a content strategy for internal and external audiences that aligns with our organization’s brand strategy, goals and growth objective
- Develop, coordinate, and support external and internal content that appeals to employees, candidates, distribution partners, and U.S. employers
- Apply targeted content across CopperPoint’s channels and platforms, including newsletters, websites, social media, and more
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness and results of marketing activities across multiple platforms and recommend ways to improve future performance, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s content strategy and oversee the process from ideation to publication
- Create, manage, and publish original and high-quality content for distribution across multiple platforms and channels
- Work cross-functionally to support internal teams’ goals and growth objectives through high-quality and effective content
- Identify trends, content gaps and target audience preferences
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
- Analyzing social media data to understand competitors' activities and strategies, identifying opportunities to market CopperPoint’s competitive edge
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs and strategies
- Manage all company social media accounts to ensure relevant, up-to-date content
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 5-7 years of related experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field is an advantage
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing
- Demonstrated experience drafting and publishing written, graphic, and video content across a wide range of communications and marketing channels
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with a strong sense of storytelling, creativity, and innovation
- Social media savvy with in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices and a passion for staying on top of trends
- Growth mindset and high degree of flexibility that means you’re always ready to meet the company's changing needs
- Strong planning, project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient with design programs such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
